Report: Von Miller, Broncos haven’t talked contract since early June

Anyone assuming Von Miller and the Broncos will work out a long-term deal before the July 15 deadline, don’t be so sure.

The two sides haven’t talked recently.

Now it’s late in the month of June. The Super Bowl MVP hasn’t signed his one-year franchise tag tender for $14.129 and has said there’s “no chance” he’ll play under the tag in 2016.

If Miller and the Broncos haven’t talked in a number of weeks, it suggests the two sides are far apart and feel there’s no point in even negotiating. And sitting out the season becomes more and more of a possibility for Miller.
