Apparently the silence between the Broncos and Von Miller has been broken.
According to Adam Caplan of ESPN, the two sides in this contract stalemate have talked recently.

Communication is a key part of any relationship. Miller has a ring. But it’s a championship ring, not a wedding ring, and since he hasn’t signed his franchise tender the Broncos don’t own him.
The Super Bowl MVP has threatened to sit out the 2016 season rather than play under the franchise tag. The July 15 deadline to work out a long-term deal is fast approaching. It sounds like Miller and the Broncos are taking one last shot at working out their differences.
