Many Washington Redskins fans tried to leave FedEx Field early to beat the traffic during Sunday’s wild-card game against the Green Bay Packers.
Washington jumped out to an 11-0 lead early in the second quarter, and many “You like that?!” chants could be heard throughout the stadium during that time. Green Bay then found a rhythm and scored 17 unanswered points to take the lead into the half.
Things didn’t get any better for Redskins fans in the third quarter, and by the time Mason Crosby essentially delivered the nail in the coffin—a 29-yard field goal—many Redskins fans had already vacated their seats and made their way to the exits.

Here’s a few screencaps taken just before Crosby delivered the knockout punch and gave the Packers a 35-18 lead (which ended up being the final score in the game).
Redskins fans were hoping to see their team win its first playoff game since 2000, but when that didn’t happen, they shifted their focus to making sure they were home in time to prepare for work on Monday morning.
