Cam Newton, “dab ” creator and architect of a new era of quarterback, is one of the only people on the planet who could pull off Ugg boots.
He’s also one of the only people who could pull off Ugg boots in the following circumstances:
- In 90-degree weather.
- While playing in a kickball tournament.
Friday, Newton did just that. We already showed Newton taking a giant swing and a miss at the plate, but now the full video is out. It features plenty of playing, dancing to Drake and the usual Newton smile at all times:
The tournament featured plenty of big stars besides Newton’s boots, including Allen Iverson, Tim Tebow and others.
Call the annual charity event another major success. Also feel free to call it another refreshing look at one of the sporting world’s best young examples.
Silly fashion or not, Newton knows how to throw an event for the right causes while having a good, time. An infectious good time, as it’s hard not to smile with him.
