The Los Angeles Rams have a fresh start in California and HBO wants to play off that angle and show it to the rest of the world.
“Hard Knocks” will be focusing on the Rams and new quarterback, Jared Goff, and it certainly looks like this year’s edition will be a bit more “Hollywood” and sunshine, and less gridiron grit, which could be interesting.
The trailer shows the team’s facility, head coach Jeff Fisher, running back Todd Gurley, and, of course, Goff.

The Rams are certainly looking for as much attention and exposure as possible, and they’ll be a great story to follow. It’s one thing to watch a storied franchise with a lot of success, but another to see a struggling one on the rebound, attempting to build the right way through the draft and addressing key needs.
It might be a bit more “Ballers” than the “Hard Knocks” we’re used to seeing, but it should be entertaining.
