Colton Sceviour Signs on for two more years

Some nice news out of the Stars camp this afternoon as it was announced that they re-signed Colton Sceviour to a two-year deal.

The 24-year-old is in the midst of a fantastic season with the Texas Stars and leads the AHL with 31 goals. His 61 points on the season puts him third in the league (and second on the team).

Hopefully this will give him a chance next season, if not later this year, for a real opportunity to make the Dallas Stars and stick around with the team. He's shown some flashes of ability in his limited NHL time (five points, three goals in 10 NHL games) and could be a solid replacement option on the wing if Erik Cole and Ray Whitney are traded away.
