While Johnny Manziel keeps making headlines for the wrong reasons, Michael Irvin has joined the bandwagon of Manziel-to-Dallas supporters.
According to The Dallas Morning News, the Hall of Fame wide receiver said that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones helped make him a “better man” and that he could do the same for Manziel.
The Dallas Police said Thursday, according to Pro Football Talk, that they have closed the investigation involving an incident last weekend in which Manziel’s ex-girlfriend alleged that he grabbed her by the hair and hit her in the ear with an open hand.
Whether or not it’s the Cowboys, Manziel most likely will need to find another place to play next season because it probably won’t be Cleveland. He’ll need to first find a way to keep the word “police” far away from his name in print. Then he can start working on learning how to play quarterback in the NFL.
If Manziel does end up in Dallas, he’ll have an opportunity to be tutored by Tony Romo. But he’ll have to stay out of trouble.
