We all knew Floyd Mayweather Jr. wouldn’t go quietly into the good night. Mayweather, who loves to generate buzz about himself and stay relevant, retired back in September after destroying Andre Berto.

But that doesn’t mean he’s done fighting for good.

Mayweather has apparently been in talks with Showtime-CBS, and a future fight isn’t out of the realm of possibilities. He spoke about his future in a recent interview, which BSO posted to their Instagram account.

Mayweather said “crazy numbers have been thrown his way,” upwards of $100 million. He added that he’s comfortable being retired right now, but did not close the door on possibly fighting again.

I’d love to see Money May step back in the ring and promote like only he can, but he’s said he’s not going to fight Gennady Golovkin. Aside from a rematch with Manny Pacquiao, nothing else would be all that competitive/exciting.
