Kentucky Wildcats forward Willie Cauley-Stein walked off the court directly after his team lost to the Wisconsin Badgers in Saturday’s Final Four matchup—without shaking hands.

The Badgers celebrated on the court after the game ended, like any team that was headed to the national championship game would do, and a few Wildcats players just walked right by them.

Coach John Calipari went out and shook hands, but Cauley-Stein and (at least) two teammates just walked right by and made their way to the locker room, which can be seen in the Vine below. The Harrison twins reportedly did as well.

Cauley-Stein has been getting ripped on social media for walking off the court as quickly as he did.

Former NBA player Morris Peterson weighed in as well.

Peterson is right: Cauley-Stein and the other Wildcats players that walked off the court without shaking hands should have handled themselves with more class in dealing with the loss. And NBA teams will likely take note of how they acted.
