Rick Carlisle is tired of getting fined, so he employed a new strategy to prevent that from happening again after Sunday night’s 121-109 win over the Rockets.
Carlisle was fined $25,000 for ripping the officials after the team’s loss in Game 3, so he brought a prop to his postgame press conference on Sunday.
When reporters asked the Mavericks head coach about the officiating in Game 4, Carlisle put a piece of tape over his mouth to avoid voicing his criticism.
Props to Carlisle for doing whatever it takes to avoid being hit with another fine.
