Lil B’s curse, once again, proved to be too much to overcome. It haunted Kevin Durant in the past, and this time it was James Harden who was done in during the Western Conference finals.

Harden’s worst performance of the series came during Wednesday night’s pivotal Game 5, in which the Warriors advanced to the NBA Finals with a 104-90 victory. Coincidentally, Lil B was in attendance at Oracle Arena for the elimination game.

The Rockets put together a solid first quarter, but the Warriors got hot shortly after and Houston was never really in the game after that. Harden’s struggles were a big factor, as the Rockets superstar shot just 2-of-11 from the floor (14 points) and set a playoff record by committing 13 (!) turnovers.

After watching Harden struggle in the game, Lil B weighed in about the curse and said all the MVP candidate had to do to get back in good standing was apologize for mimicking his signature move.

Lil B also said he’s going to lift the curse, but not before he had some fun at Harden’s expense about all the turnovers he committed in Game 5.

There’s a lesson to be learned here: Don’t get under Lil B’s skin. Otherwise, you’ll pay for it.
