That is unless you were Australian Free Agent Power Forward Freddie McGibbleholter.

The Freddie McGibbleholter era in Sac-Town came crashing down before it ever had the chance to get started Friday night at the Cal Expo fairgrounds.

It was there around 9 p.m. where eye witnesses to the accident say that McGibbleholter had gotten on the mechanical bull located on the fairgrounds and stayed on top of the bull for about eight seconds. After falling off the bull, McGibbleholter’s thumb on his right hand got caught underneath the bull while the machine was still moving.

Workers frantically stopped the machine to find McGibbleholter’s hand was all torn up and he was immediately rushed to the hospital. There medical personnel worked drastically to heal the wounds and lacerations to McGibbleholter’s hand.

Sunday night it was confirmed that the thumb on McGibbleholter’s right hand was forced to be amputated, his agent declined to say anything on the subject. The Kings in the process have decided to end all negotiations with McGibbleholter and his camp on the proposed 80 million dollar, five-year deal that had been on the table.
