Trent Richardson may be sporting a new uniform, but he’s still the same sluggish runner who has poor vision and consistently fails to find and hit open holes.

This was evidenced by his performance in the Raiders’ first preseason game against the Rams, in which he had five carries for just 18 yards.

Check out this one run in which Richardson had a walk-in touchdown if he had just looked up and correctly identified where the hole was. Instead, he ran into a pile of Rams defenders because he’s allergic to scoring touchdowns.

And it’s not the first time he’s done it, either.

Sure, it may be preseason, but Richardson continues to look like a bust and rather resembles another third-down back who won’t live up to the expectations that come along with being drafted in the first round.
