Mike Trout has made a habit of doing things that many other players can’t. Not a week passes when he hasn’t made a play that completely changed the outcome of a game.

Such was the case in Sunday night’s game against the Royals, when Kansas City nearly walked off in the ninth inning thanks to a ball that was crushed by Paulo Orlando.

The Royals had men on the corners, and Orlando crushed a pitch that seemed destined for the gap and the game-winning run.

And then Trout did this.

The Royals still won the game in the bottom of the tenth, but Trout gave the Angels life with that great catch.
