It’s no secret that Eagles QB Sam Bradford has sustained multiple knee injuries in the past.

So when Ravens LB Terrell Suggs hit Bradford low during Saturday night’s preseason matchup, some fans and analysts raised their eyebrows. Suggs’ intentions were called into question being that he hit Bradford’s left knee (which has been surgically repaired twice).

It took place when the Eagles ran the read-option midway through the first quarter of the game. Bradford elected to hand the ball off, but Suggs kept coming and drilled him right in the knee.

Suggs was hit with a personal foul for roughing the quarterback, but it’s hard to say whether or not he was targeting Bradford’s knee. Suggs gives it 110 percent every game, preseason or not. When he comes flying off the edge, he’s going to try to make a play and rattle the opposing quarterback any way he can.
