St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley showed just how strong he is in Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
Not too many NFL players can block Clay Matthews, but Gurley did that and then some.
When Matthews burst through the line on one particular play in the first half of the game, Gurley made sure he never got to quarterback Nick Foles.
In fact, he never even got by Gurley, as the Rams running back caught him and body-slammed him to the ground.
Matthews may have destroyed Foles earlier in the game, but his attempt to swat a pass was foiled by Gurley on that play.
Does Gurley have superhuman strength? It sure looked like it on that blitz pickup.
