The undefeated Atlanta Falcons might be without star receiver Julio Jones when the team travels to New Orleans to play the Saints for Week 6’s Thursday night matchup.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Falcons are “uncertain” if Jones will be able to play due to his lingering hamstring injury. Jones did not practice on Monday.

Not having No. 11 available would be a big blow to Atlanta’s bid for six wins in six games to start 2015.
Jones currently ranks first in the NFL in receptions (45), second in receiving yards (545) and fourth in receiving touchdowns (four). He caught five passes for 67 yards in Atlanta’s Week 5 win over the Washington Redskins, despite being listed as questionable for the game.
Jones has been dealing with his hamstring injury since Week 2. He’s missed significant practice time, but the Falcons haven’t limited his game snaps. It’s certainly possible the quick turnaround—with only a few days separating games—is now limiting his availability for Week 6.
Don’t expect Jones to practice this week. He’s likely headed for a game-time decision on Thursday night.
