New York has always been a blue state. So when Donald Trump walked into Madison Square Garden to attend Saturday night’s bout between Gennady Golovkin and David Lemieux, you can probably guess what type of welcome he received.

Trump hung out with GGG in his dressing room before the fight, and was later showed on the Jumbotron. The crowd responded with a plethora of boos.

As for GGG, he took care of Lemieux quite easily with an eighth-round TKO. Golovkin remains undefeated, and Trump, well, he continues to get booed at public events, just like when he hit up the US Open a month ago.
