No, that wasn’t an earthquake in Queens on Sunday night.

That was rotund Mets pitcher Bartolo Colon falling on his face.

The Mets lead the Cubs 2-0 in the National League Championship Series. So far the only thing that has slowed down the Mets is the slippery floor that took down Colon as he made his way to the locker room after a 4-1, Game 2 win over the Cubs at Citi Field.

Part of the starting rotation during the regular season, Colon has come out of the bullpen in the postseason. He made three relief appearances in the Mets’ five-game National League Division Series win over the Dodgers, but so far hasn’t appeared in the NLCS.

But this fall will get him plenty of appearances in cyberspace.
