There’s no love lost when UCLA and Cal square off on the football field.
The two teams battled it out on Thursday night, with the Bruins emerging victorious and upsetting the 20th-ranked Golden Bears 40-24. Bruins quarterback Josh Rosen set a school record with 34 completed passes (399 yards, three touchdowns).
But things got a bit ugly after the Pac-12 matchup during postgame handshakes. The two teams got into a scuffle on the field, but the shoving match didn’t last long. A cameraman did get knocked down, though.

It’s hard to tell exactly what started the scuffle. Was Cal fired up about the loss? Or were they mad about having their band infiltrated by a Trojan Horse? Larry Brown captured the action perfectly, and the video is certainly worth watching.
There was a lot of talk heading into the Thursday night primetime game, and it lived up to expectations. We do hope that poor cameraman is OK, though.
