Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith is one of the most exciting players to watch, on and off the field. And the sad news is it looks like he played his final down in the NFL in Sunday’s game against the Chargers.
Smith caught a pass over the middle and began racking up yards after the catch until he was finally tackled by a Chargers defender, but unfortunately, it was by his ankle. Smith landed awkwardly, which resulted in him tearing his Achilles tendon.

The Ravens confirmed Smith tore his Achilles after the game, and that may be the last we see of the 36-year-old receiver, who has stated that this would likely be his final season in the league. A sad ending to what has been a great career.
