Being a soccer referee is a dangerous job, apparently, judging by what happened in a recent Russian futsal match.
One player in the game was upset after being fouled, yet he saw the call go the other way. So naturally, he threw the ball at the ref to express his displeasure over the call. When the ref walked over to him to hand out a card, the player than punched the ref in his face and knocked him out for a brief second.
Luckily, the ref got up quickly and seemed to be OK, but this was a scary moment.
