The Celtics had the right idea in the first quarter of Tuesday night’s game against the Bucks, but their execution needed some work. Point guard Isaiah Thomas attempted to run a pick-and-roll with Amir Johnson, but instead of getting free, he ended up taking a spill.
Johnson set the screen and Thomas attempted to dribble around him. Unfortunately, he ran into Johnson’s back, grabbed hold of the Celtics’ power forward and dragged him to the floor.
The Celtics’ loss was the Bucks’ gain, as they scooped up the loose ball and were off to the races on a fast break.
