Someone should’ve warned Cameron Erving, who made his first career NFL start on Sunday, about Cameron Heyward.
The Browns have a lot of confidence in their first-round draft pick, but they’ll need to get him some help if he’s matched up against explosive pass-rushers like Heyward in the future.
Erving may weigh in at 313 pounds, but he might want to work on his footwork. Check out the play in which Heyward absolutely destroyed the Browns rookie late in the second quarter of Sunday’s game. He did a great job of finishing the play as well, tackling Isaiah Crowell in the backfield for a five-yard loss.
Heyward continues to show he’s worth every penny after being rewarded with a six-year, $59.2 million contract just a few months ago.
