Alex Poythress made SportsCenter’s Top 10 list on Tuesday night, but it almost caused him to take an emergency trip to the dentist as a result.
After Jamal Murray used a screen to cleverly dribble through two defenders, he lobbed the ball up for Poythress, who threw down an alley-oop dunk.
The dunk was nice, but Poythress’ tooth got stuck in the net on his way down.
Luckily, Poythress’ tooth wasn’t yanked, and he will not be receiving a visit from the Tooth Fairy tonight.
