The Cleveland Cavaliers were up so big midway through the third quarter of Saturday night’s game against the Atlanta Hawks that LeBron James decided he was just going to take himself out of the game.

James didn’t signal to any coaches that he wanted to come out. No, instead, he just elected to sub himself out and walked off the court since the team was up 72-46.

But even superstars aren’t allowed to do that.

James walked off and Richard Jefferson, who was on the sidelines, tried to quickly get up and enter the game. But the officials took note of it, and James was hit with a technical foul.
