Virginia Tech Hokies head coach Frank Beamer is set to retire at season’s end, and he went out in style in his final regular-season game.
The Hokies defeated their interstate rival, UVA, 23-20, on Saturday, and the winningest active FBS coach emerged victorious.
His players gave him a nice Gatorade bath and carried him off the field afterward.
Virginia Tech is bowl eligible, so Beamer will likely have one more game to call the shots.
