New York Jets safety Calvin Pryor showed his bad side during Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins.
Pryor drilled Dolphins WR Rishard Matthews in the back to force an incomplete pass. The ball was thrown behind Matthews, so he had to turn to attempt to haul it in, and Pryor took advantage and jarred the ball loose. What wasn’t cool, though, was when the Jets safety stood over him afterward and then pumped his fist to celebrate.
The hit was legal, but the celebration showed no class. Pryor had no idea of knowing if Matthews was seriously injured or not, but did not care. Check out the play in question.
Tannehill was not happy with Pryor’s celebration, and he made sure to make it known after the game.
“I was worried about Rishard, but I heard some [teammates] talking about it on the sidelines,” Tannehill said via ESPN’s James Walker. “That’s kind of a classless move to celebrate when a guy is injured. Obviously, it was a good hit, a clean hit. But to celebrate when a guy is down is a classless move.”
Pryor has since responded, and he’s not changing his tune one bit. In fact, he took a dig at Tannehill.
Throw a better ball next time @ryantannehill1 teammate would've never got injured!!! Sorry if you felt I was classless at the moment.

Do you think Tannehill was justified in being upset? Pryor had a chance to apologize for his classless celebration, but opted not to.
