Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson was tired of being thrown at in Sunday’s game, and he made sure to let Rams quarterback Nick Foles and offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti know about it.
After a pass sailed out of the reach of Tavon Austin and fell incomplete, a hot mic picked up Peterson’s NSFW warning to the Rams.
The powers that be at FOX are going to hear about that audio slip-up. Oops.
As for Foles, he’d be wise to heed Peterson’s warning. He’s completed only eight of 19 passes thus far, late in the third quarter, and that’s pretty awful.
