Steve Harvey completely screws up Miss Universe announcement in embarrassing fashion

Steve Harvey was embarrassed on national television while announcing the 2015 Miss Universe pageant winner on Sunday night.

Lucky for him, a lot of sports fans were watching the Cardinals demolish the Eagles. But those that were watching the beauty pageant saw a screw-up of epic proportions.

When Harvey was announcing the runner-up and winner, he read the card wrong and incorrectly proclaimed that Miss Colombia (Ariadna Gutierrez) was taking home the crown. Unfortunately, she didn’t win, and was actually the runner-up. Miss Philippines, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, was the real winner.

Check out the reaction from Gutierrez when she realized Harvey had botched the announcement. She was clearly overcome with emotion. Watch her go from happily crying to visibly angry in a matter of seconds.

Man, that piercing glare Gutierrez shot Harvey could probably melt butter.
