Well that’s one way to open the 2015 NFL playoffs.
The Chiefs carried the momentum of their 10-game winning streak right into the postseason when Knile Davis returned the opening kickoff 106 yards for a touchdown, the second-longest kickoff return for a touchdown in NFL playoff history. Only Jacoby Jones’ 108-yard return in Super Bowl XLVII was longer.

It’s a nice way to start, and the fifth-seeded Chiefs (11-5) still led the fourth-seeded Texans (9-7) 7-0 at the end of the first quarter. Don’t expect the Chiefs to relax, however. They led the Colts 38-10 in the third quarter of a 2013 wild-card game at Indianapolis. The Colts roared back and won 45-44.
That was Andrew Luck, however. Today the Chiefs are facing Brian Hoyer and might be safe if they get a four-touchdown lead.
