Michael Phelps is currently training for the Olympics, but he made a pretty awesome cameo at Thursday night’s Oregon State-Arizona State game.

Phelps was in attendance for the Pac-12 matchup at Wells Fargo Arena, and boy, did he make an entrance. Phelps wasn’t seated in some secluded area or hanging out in the press box. No, he popped out of ASU’s “Curtain of Distraction” to distract the hell out of an OSU player who was shooting two free throws.

I mean really, who’s going to make a free throw with a shirtless 18-time Olympic gold medalist going nuts in their line of sight?

For the record, the OSU player missed both free throw attempts. Furthermore, the Sun Devils won the game 86-68, and we’re going to go ahead and say Phelps played a part in the convincing win.
