Texas A&M did the impossible in Sunday’s Round of 32 matchup against Northern Iowa. Trailing by 12 points with only 35 seconds remaining, they used stifling defense to force turnovers and make it difficult on their opponent in hopes of quickly chipping away at the lead.
It worked.
The Aggies tied the game with a few seconds remaining, and later went on to win 92-88 in double overtime. It was the biggest final-minute comeback in NCAA history.
So what’d they do afterward? They celebrated in the locker room, of course.
