Bill Murray may not have attended Xavier University, but he still shows up to games and roots hard for the Musketeers.
Murray’s son, Luke, was hired by Xavier coach Chris Mack to join his staff, so that’s why he pledges support for the university. The legendary actor showed up to Sunday’s NCAA Tournament game against Wisconsin, and was just as loud as anyone else in the team’s cheering section.
When an Xavier player was fouled but still managed to score a basket, giving them an and-one opportunity, Murray was super excited about it and celebrated accordingly.
Remember, Murray was also at the Big East tournament rooting Xavier on. He threw up the “X” in a way that would’ve made Dez Bryant proud.
