It’s hard to keep track who’s on the Memphis Grizzlies roster with all the injuries they’ve had. Twenty-seven people have played for the Grizzlies this season, so forgive Matt Barnes if he sometimes doesn’t know his teammates’ last names.
“With all due respect, sometimes I don’t know … the last names,” Matt Barnes said, via ESPN’s J.A. Adande. “But that’s what kind of season it’s been.”
Regardless, the Grizzlies are in fifth place in the West with eight games to go. That Memphis is a playoff team is a testament to coach Dave Joerger and the job he’s done to keep up with the ever-changing lineup.

Barnes might sometimes forget his teammates’ last names, but what does it matter when you’re winning games?
