Shortly after “Marlins Man” (real name Laurence Leavy) rose to some sort of quasi-fame following the 2014 World Series, folks were clamoring for his inclusion in MLB 15: The Show.
True story.
Someone actually set up an online petition to try and make it happen. But, sadly (or not…depending on your opinion), it failed. That said, did the folks behind MLB The Show 16 sneakily slip in a reference to baseball’s most popular fan?
This guy sure thinks so.

Now, I realize Leavy is a white dude and the guy in the screenshot isn’t, but it’s almost too much of a coincidence for it to not be a subtle reference, right?
