The balance of power has shifted in the AL East. The Yankees and Red Sox are no longer battling it out atop the standings, and the Blue Jays and Orioles are pretty damn good.
That appears to have both frustrated Yankees fans, and gave Blue Jays fans a shot of confidence, judging by what happened during Tuesday night’s game at Rogers Centre.
A fight broke out in section 218, and while it’s hard to tell exactly how it started, it looked as if a Yankees fan was heckling a Jays fan wearing a Josh Donaldson jersey, and he got drilled in the face as a result. And then it was on.

Both fans got ejected, but the Jays fan got an ovation from the home crowd.

The Jays fan clearly won the fight, but the Yankees won the game, 3-2.
