Tropicana Field is a baseball eyesore — with features other stadiums don’t care to have. One of them is the catwalk up near the top of the domed park, which can prevent high flies from ever coming down.

Visiting Dodger rookie Trayce Thompson experienced what’s possible when a ball is hit in a certain spot. Fortunately enough for him, this mammoth shot was still a home run.

The long drive got stuck in the “C-ring” of the stadium catwalk — only the sixth time it’s ever occurred.

Trayce, who would add a two-run single later in the game, is the brother of Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson. But Klay will never get hang time like that.
