Stephen Curry received his second consecutive MVP award on Tuesday, not too long after dropping 40 points in his first game back from injury and essentially daggering the Blazers on Monday night.
Curry dropped 17 points in overtime, which was an NBA record for both playoff and regular season games.
His timing was impeccable, with Tuesday slated to be the day he was to accept the award and deliver a speech. And sure enough, that’s exactly what he did, but it wasn’t all about him, at least not at the beginning.
Riley Curry was there with him, and she’s been known to steal the show with her charm. While Steph was talking to the media, Riley entered the room and did her thing. She pointed to a few media members like she was on a first-name basis with them, which isn’t something you normally see a three-year-old do.
