San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich doesn’t like being questioned by the media.
To be honest, he doesn’t really like talking to reporters at all, but begrudgingly does it because it’s a part of his job.
Anyone who asks Pop a question knows a short or witty answer is in play, and that was certainly the case when a reporter asked about why he elected to go with a smaller lineup so late in Game 5’s 113-99 loss.
“No,” Popovich said. “Are you coaching now? You should try not to do that.”

Pop was clearly upset about the loss, but the question was valid, and maybe the Spurs head coach really was second-guessing himself. Either way, it didn’t seem very fair of him to blast the reporter for a legitimate question. He could have just given a short one-sentence answer and moved on.
