Washington Nationals slugger Bryce Harper had a message for Mets fans during Thursday night’s game.

The Nationals and Mets squared off and began a pivotal four-game series, with New York losing to close the gap for first place in the division. And with the game tied at 1-1 in the fourth inning, Harper crushed a pitch from Bartolo Colon to give the Nats the lead. This silenced Mets fans, who had been heckling him since the beginning of the game.

Harper made sure they were quiet. In fact, he turned to them and motioned for them to shush.

Harper does a great job of embracing the villain role, that’s for sure.
