The Texas Rangers paid tribute on Friday night, honoring the five Dallas police officers that were killed in a sniper attack, during their game against the Twins.

Globe Life Park is located roughly 20 miles from where the attack happened, so the team held a moment of silence before the game, which the Rangers held on to win, 6-5. There was a flyover from the United States Air Force, as recruits stood among the base lines to honor the slain officers. Here’s what it looked like.

You can watch the entire moment of silence here.

There’s power in numbers, and everyone in attendance acted in unison to send their prayers to the families of the police officers that were killed. Clearly, we need to spark some change, as this sort of profiling/injustice can’t continue. Something has to give. But for now, we as a nation must reflect/heal, before moving forward.
