Retired NBA center Shaquille O’Neal will wrestle seven-time world heavyweight and 11-time tag-team WWE champion The Big Show (Paul Wight) at next year’s Wrestlemania.

Wight confirmed the match, telling Shanghai Daily, ““We’ll have one heck of a match and we’ll see what’s up. We’ll give the fans a treat.”

Wight issued the challenge to O’Neal in-person at the ESPY’s last month. O’Neal asked Wight “You sure you want to do that?” and Wight answered “Sure! I don’t have much time left, I’d rather have some fun with you.”

O’Neal, who will be enshrined in the NBA Hall of Fame in September, is no stranger to getting into the ring. He’s made numerous appearances at televised events for different promotions, including WWE. O’Neal was a surprise participant in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at last year’s Wrestlemania.

Wrestlemania 33 will take place on April 2, 2017, at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
