Russian diver Ilya Zakharov attempted to defend his title in the 3-meter springboard event at the 2016 Olympics in Rio, but things didn’t go as planned.
The qualifiers were held on Tuesday, and the former 2012 Olympic gold medalist didn’t advance, because the dive he attempted was one of the worst you’ll ever see. He splashed face-first into the water, and that’s probably why he received a score of 0.0.

That dive fail will likely haunt Zakharov for awhile.
