LeBron James has indicated multiple times in recent years that it’s a personal goal of his to go down as the best in NBA history.
While that remains to be seen, with Michael Jordan having won six NBA titles, and James with just three, it’s clear that the Cavaliers star has his eyes on the prize.
He confirmed that in a recent interview with the Associated Press’ Tom Withers.
“It’s a personal goal,” James told the AP. “I just never brought it up. It’s my own personal goal to be able to be greater than great. I think that should be everybody’s personal goal.”
James keeps comparing himself to Jordan, but he’s not even in the same class. No one has been since the GOAT retired, and LBJ has a lot of work to do before he can even be mentioned in the same sentence.
