We didn’t have to wait long to see Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant face off against each other now that the Lakers guard is back from injury. And of course, in the fourth quarter of Tuesday night’s game, a spat erupted between the two of them.

It started when the two players were fighting for a rebound.

Bryant tried to slap the ball loose, but it was Howard who delivered an elbow afterward.

Then Bean called Howard “soft.”

Howard then responded, and likely tried to tell Kobe how tough he is, which no one really believes. So the Lakers guard asked him to put his money where his mouth is and replied with “Try me!”

Kobe was whistled for a personal foul on the play, and Dwight was hit with a flagrant. The two were also given a double technical as well. But this likely won’t be the last time we see these two battle it out, as they clearly still have differences dating back to Howard’s (short) tenure as a member of the Lakers.
