The 2014-15 NBA season hasn’t started the way Oklahoma City Thunder fans had hoped it would. Kevin Durant suffered a foot injury earlier in the month and could be out for two months, and Russell Westbrook left Thursday night’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers with a right hand injury.

He left the game midway through the second quarter, and headed to the locker room to get his hand checked out.
Unfortunately, he ran into one particular fan who heckled him on the way there. Westbrook actually stopped in his tracks, turned around and walked back toward the stands to confront him.
It sounded like the fan taunted him and said “I’ll f*** you up.” Westbrook was clearly heated after being called out.
Here’s an update on the status of Westbrook’s injury. It’s hard to discern how long he’ll be out until an MRI is performed tomorrow.
Brooks says the fracture is in Westbrook’s second metacarpal. Brooks did not provide a timetable for recovery.

For reference: Danny Green fractured his second metacarpal last season. He missed 10 games, a little less than a month.

Props to Westbrook for handling his business and heading back to the locker room when it was all said and done. Fans can be jerks, especially when alcohol is involved.
