Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel didn’t make much of an impact for his team on the field this season, but he’s garnered plenty of attention regarding his off-field activities.
Manziel spent New Year’s Eve in Miami, where he sent birthday wishes to LeBron James. He then made his way to Houston this past weekend where he went clubbing. Manziel and his entourage reportedly attended Dekan nightclub late Sunday night. While there, they ran into a group of people who began yelling at him and “aggressively” asked for a photo with the Browns quarterback, according to TMZ.
Things then got a bit ugly, as Manziel reportedly flipped off the hecklers, who then threw drinks at Johnny and his entourage.
Manziel and members of his group were then ushered out by club security. They went back to their hotel to change their clothes—electing to wear something that was dry.
And, of course, they returned to the club, where they resumed partying without any more incidents.
The drink-throwers were kicked out of Dekan, but police were not contacted about the incident.
