Good evening Patriots fans! I’m not going to make this a recap, because if you didn’t watch tonight’s Super Bowl, shame on you! The University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona was an excellent host for Super Bowl XLIX and I’m so glad that our Patriots came out on top. In fact, I think this was one of the best Super Bowls of all time. Before I go on, I would like to this time to congratulate the Seattle Seahawks and the 12th Man. Your team is one of the best in the league and will always be a force to be reckoned with for a long time. Hope to see you guys sometime soon again.

Now, I didn’t know how to feel when the Patriots overcame a 10 point deficit deep in the 2nd half and then rookie cornerback Malcom Butler picked off Russell Wilson with 20 seconds left in the game. To be honest, I shed multiple tears, just click the link and see for yourself. We actually beat the Seattle Seahawks! Was this real life?

If you’ve been following our blog closely, you knew that I went in July to Patriots training camp. Notice what I said in the final few paragraphs. What honestly could stop us from winning a Super Bowl? Well, we faced several ups and downs but the champion identity was always embedded within this New England team. As a true New England Patriots fan, this trophy feels a hell lot better. I’m sure my fellow hardcore Pats fans will understand why.

When you look at yourself in the mirror, what do you see? That’s for personal perspective. But what would the New England Patriots see when they see themselves in the mirror. We could never really know for sure but one could make a really good guess: that this Pats team sees themselves as one of the best Super Bowl-winning teams of all time.

The Patriots overcame it all. The first 4 weeks may have been awful, including getting massacred in Kansas City. But all these games helped New England determine who they really were. They responded with a bang and never looked back. It was honestly them and their fans vs. the Seahawks, the League, the Media, and basically the whole world. But you know what, who cares? The saying is, “they hate us cuz they ain’t us!” Congratulations, to the 2014 Super Bowl Champions New England Patriots! You’ve won all of our hearts and I cannot wait to see you guys come back next season. In addition, congrats to Tom Brady for winning his 3rd Super Bowl MVP and 4th Super Bowl overall – enjoy Disney World! For me and all you Patriots fans, let’s rest easy for the next several months. This time is ours to enjoy because we’ve been told to do our job – and now the job is finally done. I cannot wait till training camp now and I hope to see you all there. Follow me and the blog on twitter and let’s go Patriots!!!
