After 67 years in the broadcast booth, Vin Scully has (probably) done/seen just about everything.
And, thanks to Baseball-Reference, we know precisely what some of those things are.
Emmy Award winner Eric Stonestreet has brushed elbows with, seemingly, just about everyone.
Seriously, the “Modern Family” actor has recently tweeted out pictures of himself with Brock Lesnar, Kevin Hart (almost) and Bob “Effing” Newhart. That said, there’s really no graphic, stat or blog post that can explain this.
When Stonestreet met up with the legendary Los Angeles Dodgers broadcaster on the eve of his swansong, this happened.

That’s right, Stonestreet was so nervous to meet the Hall of Famer, that all he got was a picture of shoes and creases. Thing is, I probably wouldn’t have even gotten my phone out of my pocket to take any picture.
